This identity was developed for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center's
Women's Health Department. We really wanted to stay away from clichés
like the soft curves of the female figure, or hands cradling a baby. The
phases of the moon suggested not only a monthly cycle, but in a broader
sense, the patterns and rhythms of life, for both women and men.
